The airport can be accessed via the national road E90, and can be accessed by bus or by taxi.
by Bus 
 The bus services are operated:
 1)

 By Olympic airways buses which connect the airport with the towns of Alexandroupolis Komotini and Orestiada.
 2)

 There are also available public buses with destination the town of Orestiada every hour and have stop in front of the airport.
 3)

 Local transport bus are available from Alexandroupolis to suburb Anthia and Loutros.
